I mentioned the previous printer’s untimely failure. It’s been replaced. Did some research online, but the real part of the process was seeing what Office Max had in stock, then coming home and doing some research, and then blitzing into the store to make the pick.
I wanted the Brother HL 2040, but the only one left was a display model, so urgency brought me to the Brother HL 2070N. More bucks for a bit of extra memory and extra connectors, which we don’t need. But a printer in the house is worth… well, something. The footprint works (it’s small), and it’s fast, if a bit loud when printing.
Now I have more one piece of electronic equipment to dispose of properly. Hmmm.
